My Grandfather was a man who didn’t waste his words.   He used this analogy in one of our conversations once, and I never forgot it since.   I believe his message to me was a lesson on compassion and patience with people and their perceived limitations.   I use this to remind me to hold the space that helps others feel accepted and loved without judgement.
